Add a System Message
Administration > Manage System Messages
To create a new system message click the Add System Message button on the right above the System Messages report.
Both fields displayed are required. Please see the field descriptions below for more information.
Message Type: Examples of message types include Status Update, System Error, System Alert, and Warning. Think about the workflow your message is to be associated with and select an appropriate message type.
Message Description: The description contains the message that will display to users when the message type is triggered. For example, when a user clicks the delete button to remove a record, the message that displays in the confirmation message is pulled from the message description.
Once you click Save your message will be assigned a message code that will tie the message to a specific workflow. Please speak with your implementation team for more information.
Click Cancel to abandon creating the new system message, as needed.
